Timothy Dale Jones is a contemplative poet who lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge Mountains he has called home his entire life.

For twenty-five years, Tim worked alongside people experiencing homelessness at the local Rescue Mission, an experience that deeply shaped the way he understands human dignity, vulnerability, and the importance of paying attention to the lives around us. Today he serves full-time as part of the clergy team at St. James Episcopal Church in Hendersonville, where his ministry centers on mission, belonging, and connection with the wider community.

Much of Tim’s poetry grows out of paying attention to the sacredness of ordinary encounters in barely noticed places.
